The concept required a mix of live action and 'painting by numbers' background scenes, which colored in as the live action progressed through a number of scenes.
The solution was to film the live action green screen using motion control, which would be matched to the animation.
Green screen props such as beds, doors and bus stops were added to the set along with tracking markers for the animation passes.
