Lou has 10 years’ experience in the film and TV business. She’s produced commercials, corporate films, music promos and online movies for some of Scotland’s leading creative agencies. With her background as an editor, Lou brings a wealth of technical insight to her work, along with an eye for visual story-telling. She studied Media & Communications in Edinburgh and has an HND in Television from Telford College.

What did you want to be when you were wee?
A nurse.

What’s your favourite album?
Eliza Doolittle, La Roux or Nouvelle Vague.

If you were a superhero, who would your sidekick be?
Mary Poppins. She has those magic tidying up powers and would be super organised. Supercalifragilisticexpialidociously orgranised I guess.

What period of history would you like to visit?
The 70’s. For all the free love.

Do you hate marmite?
No, quite the opposite. I love it.

What your favourite time of the day?
Dinnertime. I love cooking.

What are you most scared of?
Spiders. Even the small ones.

In the film of your life, who would play you?
Helen Baxendale. Everyone always says I look like her.

Godzilla or King Kong.
Neither. I’m just not a fantasy fan.

What three things can’t you live without?
My cat, Twiggles, my laptop and my digital camera.
Whats on your stereo?

Nouvelle Vague for chilling out to on a Sunday, La Roux to get me going when out running or at the gym. Van Morrison as I’ve seen him live twice and KT Tunstall because she sang in a New year for me in Princes St Gardens.
