It always amazes people just how much work goes into making even the shortest of films. There’s location finding, the art department, wardrobe, crew sourcing, talent finding, to name just a few. But all the hard work put into pre-production pays off on the day of the shoot when the team effort really comes into its own, resulting in a smooth, organised shoot. This is where an old maxim is certainly true: fail to prepare, prepare to fail.
